Trust & Compliance
The compliance facts about 58th Floor AI Video in one page: the model, moderation, takedown, refunds and payment handling.
Last updated: 2026-11-03
This page exists so that an app review, payment-provider audit, or any careful user can check our compliance posture in one place, directly against the full documents it links to. Nothing here replaces those documents — Acceptable Use, Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, Terms of Service and the takedown channel remain the operative texts.
What this product is (and is not)
- The site generates a short vertical AI video from one prompt, optionally with one reference photo, and delivers it as a downloadable MP4. It is not a video editor and not a project system.
- Photo rights are a product rule. Users may only upload their own photo, or someone's photo with explicit consent. The Acceptable Use policy states this as a rule, and likeness misuse has a formal takedown channel.
- Samples on the marketing pages are real output from this pipeline, labelled with the model and duration — they are not stock footage or mockups.
AI models and the moderation stack
- Model: generations run on the Grok Imagine Video family (xAI), accessed through SeeAPI. The model used for a run is disclosed on the generation form and on this page. There is no reference-video input and no motion-transfer feature. Full disclosure: About.
- Prompt screening: every prompt is checked before generation by Waffo Prompt Sift plus our local blocklist; a request that matches a restricted category is refused and costs no credits (see Acceptable Use).
- Output check: the generated video is frame-sampled by an automated NSFW filter before delivery; flagged output is not delivered and its credits are refunded.
- AI-generated content: every delivered video is AI-generated, not real footage, and should not be presented as real footage of a real event.
Moderation is enforced before generation
From Acceptable Use, "How we enforce this":
- "Every request is checked before it is generated." If a request is refused, "no credits are consumed — you are not charged for a blocked request."
- "Repeated violations suspend your account. Once an account reaches the configured threshold of blocked requests, generation is refused for that account while the record stands."
- "We keep records of moderation decisions" — what was checked, which categories matched and a hash of the request. The offending media is not retained. Evidence is preserved only where the law requires cooperation (privacy policy section "Data retention").
Takedown / likeness complaints
Anyone whose likeness appears in a generated video can use the takedown page: it explains what we need, and removal is handled by a human. Abuse reports also reach the same channel (contact).
Refunds
Our refund posture in one line — the Refund Policy has the full text:
- Refund window: 14 days from purchase (this is also the window enforced by our Merchant of Record for buyer-initiated requests).
- Unconsumed credits are refundable; credits consumed by videos you received are not (the compute is spent).
- Email support@58thflooraivideo.org or file via the payment provider's consumer portal; we reply within 5 business days, refunds go back to the original payment method.
- A failed generation is not a consumed generation — its credits are returned automatically.
- Packs are one-time purchases: nothing renews, so there is no subscription to cancel.
Payments & card data
- Payments are processed under a Merchant of Record model by Waffo Pancake; statements show "WAFFO PANCAKE". Invoices are issued with the order confirmation email.
- Per the Privacy Policy: "Card data is processed exclusively by our Merchant of Record and PCI-DSS payment processor, Waffo Pancake, and never reaches our servers."
Data & retention (short form)
Account data, generated tasks and moderation records each follow the retention rules in the Privacy Policy (sections "Data retention" and "Data sharing"). Generated videos are deleted about 30 days after delivery; uploaded photos are kept only to run and deliver generations; deletion requests are honoured except where the law requires us to preserve evidence.
